Estep's the Nu Look was founded in 1974 by Jack Estep Sr. Jack Estep started in retail at an early age of 16 as an associate of Moskin's clothing. At age 19 he began as the youngest and most profitable manager in the entire chain. Moskin's relocated to 121 Summers Street in Charleston and changed its name to Calvin's Department Store. Jack continued to manage Calvin's until 1964 at which point he bought the store. Calvin's was closed in 1974 and Esteps was created and is present still located and 700 Lee Street East in Charleston.

Estep's began as a men's and ladies store however it was changed to an all men's store in 1986. Jack Estep Jr. joined his father in 1981 graduating from WVU and Tom Estep joined two years later to formulate the store you can visit today.

Estep's is Charleston, WV fashion leader. We are the premier source for fashion goods in WV. Estep's has always been a risk taker with cutting edge designs for that different drummer in every man. Whether you are looking for a royal blue suit or a lime green shirt, Estep's has the largest selection of color of any store in the area.
